X Men Days of Future Past:

A Review:

Hello there!

The movie about which I am going to speak here is not a very recent one, but I always wanted to do a review about this one. X Men Days of Future Past is another thriller of the series taking Wolverine as its usual hero. There are some of the things which I liked about this movie. It has given us the 'Story behind' of what all happened in the past.

The movie has a very good storyline in which Wolverine is making the full use of his capacity to fight for a purpose. Charles Xavier has given us very good values of the better use of our potentials and how to gain control over ourselves. In the movie, they portray the world in great danger because the humans were finally successful in overpowering the mutants and their capacities. I really liked the acting of Kitty, and as usual our 'hero' Magneto.

When the movie takes us back to the days of 60s, where Wolverine is now asked by Professor X to stop the killing of the genetic scientist by Mystique. The way how all the characters are introduced to a viewer was very good. The fact that despite Wolverine not possessing the Adamantium claws, he fights till the end. The locking up of Magneto in the basement cellar of Pentagon and his escape, those scenes were all packed with adrenaline! At last when Mystique makes a choice, not to kill the scientist has been brought out by the makers of the movie very well.

My review will never be complete if it does not include demerits which I spotted in the movie. Even though the humans had come up with a technology for the mass destruction of the mutants, it appears very strange that those creatures, whatever they are called, for them to hunt down the mutants and make this world appear to be devil's cemetery! I still keep on thinking, Kitty has the power to walk through the walls, but from where on earth did she find the capacity to control the minds of other mutants and take them to the days when she was not at all born! The movie appears to be silly when Wolverine appears in the 60s in an unknown apartment with someone really unknown! It was even worse when those pioneers of mutants ask help of a kid! That too just because he is really very fast! The movie also loses its charm when Stryker is seen in the middle of the movie and Wolverine acts as though he is possessed by a ghost!

But the makers of the movie did never disappoint us and did a really good job by bringing out a fantastic movie. You might have a different opinion on the movie, but what I did here was just I expressed my views on the movie. Hope you liked it...

Polonium-210, the most lethal chemical element known to man!

Hello there! To those unfamiliar with the bad boys of the periodic table, imagine Polonium as the worst bad guy. In fact he would most likely be the gang leader, considering it  takes less than a microgram of this substance  to constitute a fatal dose. To help you better image exactly how much a microgram is, it is about no larger than a spec of dust. But what exactly makes Polonium so deadly, that even a microgram could take out a healthy human being? Let us back track a bit. Polonium 210 was first discovered as a radioactive chemical element (atomic number 84) in 1898 by Marie Curie. She found it in a source of Uranium and it takes the form of a solid metal with a silver color. Later winning a Nobel Prize in Chemistry for her discovery, she also a found another element, radium. They first saw the effects of how dangerous this element was after a lab accident exposed her own daughter to a fatal amount, evoking leukemia, which lead to her dea...

How to choose a DSLR:

Hello there, I have recently been writing only about reviews and I had an idea what if I write a blog on how to choose a DSLR for beginners. Most of my friends have the interest in photography but fail to choose which camera to go for. Some people at the end choose the camera which they are not satisfied of later. In order to solve such problems, I have come up with this blog, so that each one of us can decide what to go for. There are many aspects to be considered while choosing a camera. It completely depends upon what you are going to do with it and how much you are using it and on what occasions. Usually DSLRs are a bit expensive when compared to other cameras. I'd like to mention some of the aspects one has to consider while choosing them. What is your budget?: When buying a DSLR especially, the first thing you need to do is fix a definite budget. It can act as a barrier for your thinking and you will not decide to look at the more expensive ones. In the market...

Sherlock!

Hello there,  It has been some time after my last blog and friends kept on insisting me to blog even during my hectic schedule. The topic I am going to discuss here is a review of a famous TV serial Sherlock by BBC. I got all the three seasons of Sherlock a month ago from one of my close friends. It took me about a week (in between my work) to completely watch the three series and what it made me at the end was truly amazing. The makers of the series are among the successful people who have won the hearts and minds of the spectators. Salutes to the makers of the serial who have made my viewing experience a wonderful one. Right from the beginning the story is very well constructed and it is brought out in such a way that a the viewer is forced to watch all the episodes and has no other option but to satisfy his curiosity! I have to tell something about the actors. Benedict Cumberbatch is one such genius who has brought the fullest of what that is possible by Sherlock Holmes! W...
